GPS Tracking
GPS data from mobile devices such as Android and iPhone is sent to the gateway via the MQTT protocol using the open source OwnTracks. In addition to obtaining the current location information of registered members, automation rules can be automatically activated or deactivated by entering or leaving the areas registered in Home Assistant or OwnTracks.

For example, GPS data from mobile devices such as Android and iPhone are sent to the gateway via the MQTT protocol using the open-source software OwnTracks. This allows for not only obtaining the current location information of registered members, but also automatically triggering and deactivating automation rules based on entry and exit from areas registered in Home Assistant or OwnTracks.
For instance, automation rules related to security using motion sensors can be automatically triggered (such as calling the mobile phone or sending an email) when leaving the home area and deactivated upon returning, and settings such as automatic activation of LED lighting can be made. By setting areas for locations such as schools, workplaces, and hospitals, the movements of family members can be monitored in real-time.
